Deputies: 2nd suspect arrested after man robbed, shot in back

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies looking for the second suspect accused of robbing a man then shooting him as he tried to run away was arrested Monday.

According to Anderson County deputies, 32-year-old Cedric Williams and Damascus Moore-Floyd, robbed a man in the parking lot of Newport Commons on Simpson Road on April 21.

The victim tried to run away when the pair demanded his money and jewelry, deputies said.

According to Williams' arrest warrant, he stole jewelry and an iPhone from the victim then shot him as he ran away.

According to the original deputy's report, when officers arrived the victim was conscious and told them what happened. He was taken to the hospital but no additional information has been released.

Moore-Floyd was arrested last week.

Williams was also charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime and is at the Anderson County Detention Center on $155,000 bond.
