Anderson County investigators are asking the public to take a good look at a man charged with committing a lewd act on a minor, as they believe he may be involved in other crimes.
Lt. Sheila Cole said 25-year-old Thomas Vincent Cross II, of Iva, was charged in connection with illicit acts with a female victim that occurred between May 1, 2006, and May 31, 2008, when the victim was less than 8 years old.
Cole said Cross was already being held at the detention center on other charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
According to Cole, he may be involved in other illegal acts.
If anyone has knowledge of additional crimes committed by Cross, possibly involving other juvenile victims, they are asked to contact Chief Thomas Miller at Iva Police Department at 864-348-6191 or Sheriff's Investigator Danny Barton at 864-231-1937.
