LAURENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Pickens man has been arrested after deputies said GPS helped track the stolen truck to Laurens County on Monday.

According to the incident report, Laurens County deputies received a "be on the lookout" from Spartanburg County for a red Chevy work truck from Pickens Roofing and Sheet Metal.

The truck was heading on Highway 221 coming into Laurens County and it was being tracked by GPS, the report said.

Deputies pulled over the truck on Highway 92, where they identified the driver as 31-year-old Derek Sanders, the report stated.

The owner then headed to the location to pick up the truck.

Sanders was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle by Laurens County deputies.
