TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

New information reveals a University of Arizona student who fell to his death from a dorm in April was drunk when he climbed a rooftop tower.

The toxicology report of Michael Anderson, 19, shows his blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit when he died.

There was also evidence that he had smoked marijuana, but it was not known how recently.

The freshman and another student were climbing on top of a dorm building around 4 a.m. on April 4 when Anderson fell from a 20-foot ventilation tower back onto the roof of the Colonia de la Paz dorm on Highland Avenue.

The autopsy indicates he died from head injuries and the medical examiner said it was an accident.
