TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

TODAY'S MOST...Interesting high school prom story: An 18-year old in Arizona was arrested and accused of wearing a stolen tuxedo to a high school prom. Kyle Terry Laderoort was taken into custody during the prom.

A $600 dollar tuxedo was taken off a window mannequin at a formal wear store in Prescott Valley last week. Thieves broke a window to the store during the burglary to get to the tux. The Prescott Valley PD then called around to try to find which schools had proms scheduled for Saturday night. They found out a charter school in Jerome had a prom scheduled.

The owner of the store went to the prom and identified the tux that Laderoort wore as the one stolen from the store. Police then arrested Laderoort.

He claims he had nothing to do with the burglary, but was booked into the Yavapai County Jail on one count of felony burglary and one count of felony criminal damage.
