ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson police are looking for a suspect they said shot a man walking down an Anderson road, hitting him in the back.

Lt. David Creamer said a 911 call came in at 3 p.m. in which the caller stated a man had been shot while walking down South Manning Street near South Franklin Street on Sunday.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition but did not survive, police said.

The coroner identified the victim as Anthony Jameson, 32, and said he was shot in the back.

Creamer said officers have signed warrants for the arrest of Marquez Travarous Goss, 17, in connection with the shooting. He said Goss is wanted on charges of possession of a weapon during a violent crime and murder.
