SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies in Spartanburg County said two 22-year-old men face charges after causing a disturbance at a Waffle House and ignoring the restaurant's security guard.

Deputies said they responded to the Waffle House at 1795 Asheville Highway early Saturday morning, where the security guard pointed them to the suspects, Andrew Gehring and Donovan Johnson.

The guard told deputies he had asked the suspects to leave after they refused to comply with his orders to pull up their pants.

Deputies said Gehring and Johnson cursed repeatedly at them while being questioned.

Deputies said the men advised them that they had just graduated from Wofford College and that "it wasn't their concern that proper decorum was needed in the public domain," according to reports.

Deputies said the security guard requested the men be forced to leave and trespassed from the restaurant.

After 10 minutes of failing to get a ride home and continuing to use foul language, deputies said they took Gehring and Johnson into custody and charged the men with public disorderly conduct.

According to jail records, the men were released later Saturday on their own recognizance.
