CALHOUN FALLS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Calhoun Falls Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital, according to Chief J. T. Galloway.

Galloway said he was called out to an address on Lee Street just after 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Galloway said the victim was shot only a few minutes after arriving home at the address.

He said the man stumbled to the neighbor's home and called 911.

The chief said he believes a fight might have occurred.

On Wednesday, Galloway said the victim was upgraded to stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Calhoun Falls Police Department.
