TRAVELERS REST, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers with the S. C. Highway Patrol said US 25 north was closed off to traffic near the intersection of Boswell Road following a crash Thursday morning.

Photos sent in from FOX Carolina viewers showed a logging truck had run off the road and spilled several logs onto both northbound lanes.

The crash happened just after 10:30 a.m. according to the SCHP's real time traffic information board.

FOX Carolina's crew at the scene reported that northbound traffic was being diverted into one of the southbound lanes as crews worked to clean up the crash site.

The road reopened around 2 p.m.
