GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville Police said a woman has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a school bus.

The woman walked in the path of a Greenville County School Bus along Pleasantburg Drive near the intersection of Mauldin Road just before 10 a.m. Friday, according to Johnathan Bragg, public information officer with the Greenville Police Department.

Bragg said the woman was hurt but her injuries did not appear life-threatening.

Preliminary investigations showed the victim was at fault, Bragg said.

There was no word if any children were on the bus at the time.
