ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A teen charged in a deadly drive-by shooting in Anderson was denied bond Monday.

Officers with the Anderson Police Department said Marquez Goss, 17, was arrested on a murder warrant following a traffic stop on Sunday.

Goss is accused of shooting Anthony Jameson, 32, in the back as Jameson was walking down South Manning Street on May 15.

Jameson was transported to the hospital where he later died.

Goss is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Goss appeared before a city magistrate on Monday morning and the judge was unable to set a bond.

Goss will remain in jail until he has a bond hearing a circuit judge at a later date.
