Spartanburg police seek 'armed, dangerous' shooting suspect

Spartanburg Police are looking for a shooting suspect who is being considered armed and dangerous.

Dispatchers said the shooting happened around 10 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Wofford Street.

One person was shot and taken to the hospital, dispatchers said.

Police sent out an alert naming the suspect as 45-year-old Ricky Lee Davis.

Davis is around 5 feet 7 inches, 160 pounds and bald, according to a BOLO sent out by dispatchers.

Officers said Davis was last seen driving a green Nissan Maxima with paper tags along South Church Street Sunday night.

Officers said warrants were signed for Davis' arrest.  He is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.

There's no word on the victim's condition.
