GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies were on the scene of a shooting on Monday afternoon.

Lt. Ty Miller said one person was shot in the leg after an altercation at Highland Square Apartments on Pine Creek Court around 2 p.m.

Miller said the victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

According to Miller, the suspect is described as being over 6 feet tall, very thin build, wearing a light blue shirt, white shorts, a red hat and sunglasses.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME. 

Miller said the investigation is ongoing.
