Skies become partly cloudy behind isolated showers Monday evening as temperatures drop down into the mid-60s in the Upstate and upper 50s across western North Carolina.
Tuesday will start off with partly cloudy skies and relatively light winds. Throughout the afternoon temperatures will approach the upper 80s in northeast Georgia and the Upstate while western North Carolina peaks in the lower 80s.
During the afternoon, significant heating can spark an isolated rain shower or thunderstorm to develop and track across northeast Georgia and the western Carolinas. Rain will likely be short lived and move out by Tuesday evening.
Tuesday night into Wednesday the lows will once again drop down into the mid-60s and upper 50s before repeating the pattern of a pleasant start and a potentially stormy afternoon.
Look to finally catch some relief from this pattern by the weekend.
