GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies have accused David "Lamar" Thompson of stabbing his former girlfriend, Jennifer Youngblood, to death inside her home.

Thompson was arrested and charged with murder in Greenville County Tuesday night, deputies said.

Thompson went before a judge early Wednesday morning, he was denied bond and will have to see a circuit court judge.

The victim's family appeared in the 2:30 a.m. hearing to make sure he did not get out of jail.

One family member said, "What he did to hurt my family, he took away something I can never get back. He left her in my kitchen for my mom to see. No mother should see their daughter or son lying in their own blood. He is a killer, he is murderer, he should not get out. He should be in jail for life until he dies."

Deputies said they responded to a call by a family member at 3:45 p.m. last Friday, where they found Youngblood dead inside her Berea home on Nix Circle.

Arrest warrants state Youngblood was found with multiple stab wounds.

Deputies said Thompson and Youngblood had a history of domestic violence.
