Dogs die in barn fire at horse farm

BELTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Firefighters in Anderson County said three dogs were killed in a barn fire at a horse farm Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters said two other dogs were burned but survived the fire on Breazeale Road in Belton.

Firefighters from four different fire departments were called to J4 Farm Quarter Horses around noon Wednesday, according to dispatchers

Dispatchers said the Whitefield, Piercetown West Pelzer, and Hopewell fire departments were all battling the blaze.

Firefighters told FOX Carolina's crew at the scene that all horses were accounted for and unhurt.

No other information was immediately available.
