SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Seneca woman is facing grand larceny charges after deputies said she stole a truck valued at over $17,000.

Public information officer Jimmy Watt said 26-year-old Christy Worley is accused of stealing the 2008 GMC Sierra on Wednesday from a home on a street adjacent to her own.

According to Watt, the victim reported that his wife heard a noise around 3 a.m. and they awoke to found the truck gone around 6 a.m.

Watt said during the investigation, information led them to Worley's address where she was arrested.

He said she also had outstanding warrants from May 14 for driving under the influence and transportation of alcohol in a motor vehicle with the seal broken.
