ENOREE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Spartanburg County church's van was damaged by an unknown thief when they stole the battery, cut the fuel line and drained the gas tank, according to deputies.

Someone with Cedar Shoals Baptist Church in Enoree filed the report with the sheriff's office when the damage was discovered.

The deputy's report said the replacement battery was worth $150, there was $85 of fuel in the tank and the line's damage was $150.

Deputies said the church van was parked at the Cedar Shoals Church Road when the theft happened.
