SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg County deputies are looking for a woman accused of obtaining money under false pretense through her catering company.

According to the sheriff's office, 46-year-old Robin Allen approached the victim several months ago to invest in her catering business, Razzle, LLC, on W.O. Ezell Boulevard.

They entered a written agreement but deputies said Allen started not abiding to the contract. The victim became suspicious and contacted the sheriff's office.

An investigation led to the sheriff's office learning that checks Allen wrote to the victim were from an account that had been closed for several months, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies said they have not been able to locate the suspect, due to the fact that she has been evicted from all known addresses.

Deputies said they signed warrants on Friday for Allen charging her with obtaining money by false pretense greater than $10,000.

The White Collar Crime unit wanted to make the public aware of the story in case there are more victims. Victims should contact Sgt. Tony Brown at 864-503-4509.

Anyone with information on Allen's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
