Monday will bring more sunshine than we saw over the weekend. Mostly sunny skies will help temperatures to warm into the low 80s for the Upstate and upper 70s in the mountains. This is cooler than normal for this time of year.
Tuesday will be stormier as humidity increases and a front moves in. The chance of rain for the Upstate will be 30 percent, while the mountains will have a higher rain threat at 40 percent. Any storm that develops could put down hail and strong winds.
The heat cranks up for mid-week. Highs will be back in the low 90s in the Upstate by Wednesday.
