GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A company that is fairly new to Greenville has announced plans to expand their property, generating a $2.7 million investment and creating new jobs.

KI Logistics will add 64,000 square feet to its Matrix Business and Technology Park location, which is expected to create 20 more jobs.

In 2013, KI Logistics first announced its initial investment of $11.5 million and 149 new jobs at the facility, becoming the company's North American headquarters.

"Ever since we announced plans for the new facility, we have been requested by both existing and new customers across the region to provide additional assistance," said Harry Chase, vice president of logistics for KI Logistics. "As we prepare to open our new facility in a matter of weeks, the time is right to undertake this expansion."

Chase said they expect operations to begin in July with the expansion's completion date set for September.

Applicants interested in applying for jobs including support technicians, customer service representatives, team technicians and forklift drivers should contact their local readySC office or visit them at www.readySC.org.
