A man named "Scooby" is behind bars after police busted his home-grown pot operation.

Deshun Jones, better known as "Scooby," was arrested on May 21 for various drug charges and violation of parole.

The St. Tammany Parish Narcotics Task Force members observed Jones at the carwash then followed him home from the car wash and took him into custody. While being questioned, Jones gave detectives a fake name to hide the fact that he is a fugitive from Mississippi.

While at the house, Jones' roommate, 21-year-old Kimberly Carlson came home and police found additional evidence from the drug operation in her car.

Jones was arrested on a Parole Violation Warrant and charges of manufacturing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and misrepresentation during booking.

Carlson was arrested on charges of manufacturing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, altering a controlled substance and possession of synthetic marijuana.
