Clemson righthander Daniel Gossett was selected in 65th overall in the second round of the MLB draft by the Oakland Athletics.
The Byrnes High School product was a First-Team All-ACC starting pitcher with a 1.93 ERA and a 7-2 record. He struck out 107 batters while only walking 30.
Gossett is seventh in Clemson history in strikeouts, ninth in innings pitched, and tied for ninth in shutouts.
He'll now make a decision whether to turn professional or return to Clemson for his senior season.
