GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

With Greenville County Schools out for the summer Friday, police are reminding teens of the city's curfew.

No one under the age of 18 is allowed in the Central Business District after 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday night without a parent or legal guardian present.

Greenville police spokesperson Johnathan Bragg said officers will be fully enforcing the curfew.

If a juvenile is stopped downtown by police without their guardian, they will be held by police until parents are able to pick them up, Bragg said.

The curfew is also in effect on nights before bank holidays.
