GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Four of the 18 suspects in a 2013 beating death were due in court Monday and police said a fifth suspect pleaded guilty last week.

According to Greenville County court dockets, Ronald Brown, Brittany Irby, Jeffrey Jones and Elijah Wilson were scheduled for trial the week of June 9.

Police said all four were charged in the April 20, 2013, death of De'Bron Harrison.

Greenville police said the suspects began attacking Harrison as he was trying to break up a fight at a birthday party which was held at the West End Community Center on Vardry Street.

Harrison, 20, was from Columbia, and was visiting the area to attend the birthday party, his family said.

All four suspects face charges of assault and battery relating to the death of Harrison, along with kidnapping charges, police said.

A spokesperson for the solicitor's office said Jones pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice in court Monday and was sentenced to 399 days in jail, which is the amount of time he has already served.

Antonio Wakefield, 17, pleaded guilty to both charges at an earlier hearing, according to Johnathan Bragg, a spokesman for the Greenville Police Department.

Joshua Gowens, Corey Miller, and 11 other juveniles were also charged in the death, according to investigators.
