Deputies: Bandana-clad man holds up Anderson store at gunpoint

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson County deputies said a man was able to get away with a bag of cash from a gas station on Monday.

Deputies said the robbery was reported at 4:30 a.m. at the BP on East Shockley Ferry Road.

The clerk told deputies the man entered the store, showed a handgun then demanded the clerk put cash from the register in a bag.

Deputies said the robber fled towards the back of the store but was not located by investigators.

Deputies said the thief was wearing a black bandana and hoodie and was has not been identified.
