GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

UPDATE: Charges against Logan Guerry were dismissed in June 2014.

Greenville police said they arrested an 18-year-old Easley suspect in connection with recent graffiti painted in downtown.

Police said Logan Guerry confessed to officers on Monday that he had tagged the word "youth" on several buildings and transformer boxes in downtown, according to his arrest warrants.

Warrants state Guerry told officers he used a permanent paint marker to write youth on the front entrance of Timberland Capitol Investment on West Camperdown Way, along with writing it on six other buildings and 11 Duke Energy power boxes.

Police said the graffiti was made between May 1 and May 30.

Guerry was charged with three counts of malicious injury to property valued at less than $2,000.
