Motorcycle driver dies day after Anderson Co. crash

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers said an Upstate motorcyclist died at the hospital a day after an Anderson County crash.

The single-vehicle crash happened along Chuck Road about 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The motorcyclist was headed west when it ran off the right shoulder in a curve and the driver was thrown from the bike, troopers said. They said the driver was not wearing a helmet and no other vehicles were involved.

The driver was flown to Greenville Memorial Hospital where the victim died about 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, trooper said.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
