SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is looking to the public to help solve a 2013 burglary at a Seneca area home.

Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt said deputies were called to the home on South Walnut Street just after noon on Nov. 3, 2013.

The residents said they had returned home from church when they noticed a gun missing from a gun rack. The owner said the only items that were missing were $60 in cash and the Marlin Lever Action .22 rifle, valued at $250.

According to Watt, a deputy discovered that the burglar entered the home through a window and cut himself. He said blood was found nearby the window.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
