EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Easley police said they have a suspect in custody in connection with an armed robbery of a cash advance story on Thursday.

Police Lt. Jeremy Miller said the man entered the First America Cash Advance at 11:37 a.m. and demanded money, threatening to have a gun.

Miller said the suspect left the South Pendleton Street store with a large amount of money but did not ever show a weapon.

A little more than an hour later, Miller said Pickens County deputies arrested the suspect in Central.

Miller said they identified the suspect as Donald Arnold Warren, 50.

Police have not yet said what charges Warren faces.
