Greenville man dies 2 days after moped accident

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Greenville man died two days after being involved in a moped wreck on White Horse Road.

The coroner's office said 56-year-old Robert Eddie Kennedy was driving a moped on the road on June 10 at 1 p.m. when he lost control and crashed.

Kennedy was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he remained until he died on Thursday.

The coroner said the cause of death is blunt force trauma to the head. He said the manner of death is an accident.

The wreck is being investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Greenville County Coroner's Office.
