BATON ROUGE, LA (AP) -

LSU backup quarterback Hayden Rettig has found a new home at Rutgers University.

Rettig, who left the Tigers after the spring, had been looking at Boston College. His brother, Chase, just wrapped up his career there.

The 6'3", 205-pound pro-style quarterback signed with LSU out of Cathedral High School in Los Angeles. He was a consensus four-star recruit.

Rettig was third on the depth chart in the spring behind Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings. He attempted only two passes in the spring game.
