SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Greer teen has died after being hurt in a wrong-way crash on I-85 Business.

Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said the two-car crash happened just after 4 a.m. Friday morning.

Troopers with the SC Highway Patrol said a Ford Mustang was headed south in the northbound lane when it hit a Honda Civic head-on near the Heron Circle exit, entrapping all three people in the vehicles.

The driver of the Mustang was a 42-year-old Rutherfordton woman while the 19-year-old driver of the Honda Civic and his 17-year-old passenger, Allen Turlak, according to investigators.

Clevenger said Turlak passed away just before 10 p.m. Saturday.

Clevenger said an autopsy will be performed Sunday.
