GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Airport officials said an Allegiant flight not previously scheduled to land in the Upstate on Monday was diverted to the Greer airport.

A spokesperson for Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport said the plane reported trouble with an engine, but landed at the airport just before 8 a.m. without incident.

The spokesperson said there were 150 onboard but no injuries reported.

A spokesperson for Allegiant said the plane was enroute to South Bend, ID, from Sanford, FL, when it was diverted due to low oil pressure.

She said food was ordered for passengers, they were issued a $75-off voucher and another plane was brought in to take them to South Bend.

FOX Carolina has reached out to Allegiant Air for more information.
