ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The lawyer for an Upstate chiropractor accused of exposing himself to patients says charges have been dropped against his client.

In August of 2013, 56-year-old Gregg Battersby was charged with two counts of indecent exposure after two patients accused him of exposing himself while treating them in Anderson County.

Lawyer Bruce Fein said charges against Battersby were dropped due to contradictory statements by the accusers. The Anderson County Solicitor's Office has not confirmed the charges are dropped at this time.

Fein said defamation action has been taken against the accusers.

Battersby is fighting to get his license back from the chiropractor board, Fein said. He said the board took his license when the allegations were made.
