GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies said they found a teen wanted on an attempted murder charge in connection with a community center shooting during a routine traffic stop that led to a chase and crash.

Deputies said the person arrested was 19-year-old Lemauveil Demarcus Styles and he was wanted in connection with the Sterling Community Center shooting on May 27 where one person was shot.

According to deputies, they spotted Styles and his twin brother driving early Friday and tried to pull over the car but it took off leading to a short pursuit.

Deputies said the driver hit three parked cars before stopping near Highway 123 and Pendleton Street. Click here for photos from the crash scene.

They said Styles took off on foot and deputies tracked him to a home on Burdette Street a block away.

According to deputies, Styles was located by Greenville County's special "Summer Task Force" that is an effort that involves almost every agency, where they combine resources during summer months to clear up cases that have built up.

Online detention center records show Styles is also being held on charges of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, failure to stop for blue lights, reckless driving and possession of marijuana.

FOX Carolina is working to gather more information on the case.
