Update: One person arrested after stabbing in Abingdon

ABINGDON, VA (WJHL) - One person is recovering and another is in jail after a stabbing in Washington County, Virginia.  Abindgon Police say that 37year-old Eric Jordan and 41-year-old Brian Bradley made a make shift camp site in the 600 block of Cummings Street. This is a wooded area behind Hardee's and police say it's where it appeared Bradley was living.  

Investigators say last night around ten o'clock Jordan and Bradley started fighting. During the fight Bradley used a knife to stab Jordan, according to police. Abingdon investigators say Jordan was taken to the hospital with multiple stab wounds, but is expected to recover.  

According to police, Bradley was arrested on scene and charged with attempted first degree murder. Abingdon Police say their investigation is ongoing and if you have any information to call the number on your 



Abingdon Police have confirmed to News Channel 11 that one person has been stabbed and another is in custody .Police said the stabbing took place behind the Hardee's in the 600 block of Cummings Street around 10:00 PM Saturday.

Police did not release the name or condition of the victim.

One man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing, according to Abingdon Police. Police would not release the person's name or charges at this time.
