Clouds will begin to roll in overnight as lows approach 70 degrees in the Upstate and lower 60s in western North Carolina. Patchy fog will also develop across the mountains by early morning.
Monday will see mostly cloudy skies with the Upstate heating up to about 90 degrees. Western North Carolina will see highs in the mid-80s with gentle winds out of the south.
Throughout the afternoon, rain showers will likely develop across the mountains and spill into the Upstate by the evening. We can see an isolated thunderstorm develop with this system as well.
On Monday night, lows will once again be on the mild side with rain continuing throughout the night. Tuesday will see cooler, yet still warm, temperatures move in with cloudy skies and rain likely throughout the day.
