Deputies: Cross Hill man wanted, gunned down victim

LAURENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Laurens County deputies said they are looking for a Cross Hill man who is accused of shooting a man multiple times, leaving him in critical condition.

Deputies said the shooting happened Friday at a home on South Cook Road in Cross Hill.

They said they arrived to find the victim had been shot several times. He was airlifted to Greenville Hospital System and remains in critical condition, deputies said.

According to deputies, the suspect was identified as Dondrell Stevenson, 27, and he is wanted on two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
