Tazewell County deputies arrest exotic dancer who used dead friend's ID during arrest

Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office deputies confirmed in a Facebook post Wednesday afternoon that the exotic dancer they had been searching for in regards to a stolen identity was arrested.

Samantha Price, 27, allegedly used the identity of her dead friend while being arrested for a DUI last week.

TCSO deputies said Price was wanted on numerous charges, which included fraudulent identity to law enforcement to avoid arrest and forgery of public record.

“Our office would like to extend our gratitude to the public for the enormous number of tips we received on this individual,” according to the Tazewell County Virginia Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. “Both local and out-of-state citizens flooded our phone lines and emails with information leading to this capture. We couldn’t do it without the help of citizens who remain concerned that justice be served. Many tips also came through our Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office App using the ‘submit a tip’ feature.”

The Tazewell County, Va. Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for an exotic dancer who allegedly used the identity of her dead friend while being arrested last week.

According to a Tazewell County, Va. Sheriff’s Office news release, deputies are searching for Samantha Price, 27, for giving authorities false information during her DUI arrest.

Price, who has reportedly been working as an exotic dancer in Mercer County, gave deputies the name of a deceased friend when she was initially arrested.

She is wanted for perjury, using an ID in an attempted to avoid arrest, providing a false ID to law enforcement, forgery of public documents and for not having an operators license.

According to the release, deputies believe Price may have left the area after her arrest last week and anyone with information is asked to call in to a local law enforcement agency, as well as contact the Tazewell County, Va.
