CLINTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Firefighters responded to two fires at Clinton area homes on Tuesday afternoon.

Multiple fire departments from Laurens County were on scene at a home on Grandview Acres off Highway 76 and on N. Broad Street around 4 p.m.

Clinton Public Safety Director Robin Morse said the home on Grandview Acres was a total loss after a possible kitchen fire.

He said the residents were home at the time of the fire on Grandview Acres, but they got out of the house unharmed.

It is unknown at this time if anyone was at home during the fire on N. Broad Street.
