ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A registered sex offender was taken into custody in Anderson County on a "fugitive from justice" warrant on Tuesday, according to Lt. Sheila Cole.

Cole said they assisted the U.S. Marshal Service and the Gulf Coast Violent Task Force in locating 40-year-old Bobby Osborne, who was wanted by the Southaven, Mississippi Police Department.

According to Cole, Osborne also has charges pending in the county after he was found residing at an unreported address, which is in violation of his sex offender requirement.

He is currently awaiting extradition to Mississippi.

FOX Carolina is working to get details on the charges he faces in Mississippi.
