Rain will stay in the forecast for Wednesday, all as a front pushes in.
The best chance for rain will come after noon, and heavy downpours will be the primary threat. Highs will warm to around 90 in the Upstate and mid 80s for the mountains.
Thursday will be drier, and hotter! Mostly sunny skies will lead temperatures to the low 90s in the Upstate and mid 80s in the mountains.
Showers and storms will be back in the forecast by the weekend, but rain should be scattered and not widespread. Highs through the weekend will stay hot and humid.
