WESTMINSTER, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Deputies said a Westminster man who was out of jail on bond and awaiting trial for several charges of lewd act involving a child filed in 2013 now faces additional charges.
Deputies with the Oconee County Sheriff's Office said Harold Fincannon, 75, of Eastwood Circle, was arrested Tuesday in the Myrtle Beach area and then transported back to Oconee County.
Fincannon was previously arrested on Aug. 2, 2013, on four counts of a lewd act upon a child. Warrants charged Fincannon with inappropriately touching a girl who was between 4 and 8 years old several times between 1999 and 2003. Fincannon was later released on a $100,000 surety bond.
Deputies said a second victim has since come forward. Deputies said Fincannon abused the second victim inside his home on Fincannon Road several times between 1980 and 1981, when the victim was between the ages of 7 and 8 years old.
Deputies said Fincannon is charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and one count of a lewd act upon a child. Deputies said the investigation continues.
