Storm threat goes down, and temps rise

Very warm Thursday afternoon Very warm Thursday afternoon
GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Our rain chances will be much lower for Thursday, as some drier air works in from the north. This will make it feel slightly less humid outside, but temperatures will still feel very hot.

Highs will reach the low 90s for the Upstate and mid 80s in the mountains on Thursday, with only isolated afternoon storms. Rain chance will be 20 percent or less for most areas.

Similar conditions will prevail on Friday as well, then our storm threat increases for Saturday and Sunday. Highs will stay seasonably hot, and pop up storms will become more likely during the afternoons.
