GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

One person died after a fiery wreck in Greenville County early Friday, according to troopers.

Authorities at the scene said the crash happened just before 2 a.m. on Jordan Road near Jug Factory Road.

According to Cpl. Bill Rhyne with the Highway Patrol, a 2003 Ford F-250 pickup truck was headed south on Jordan Road when it ran off the right side of the road.

The driver overcorrected, causing the truck to cross back across the road and overturn, catching fire in the wreck, Rhyne said.

Rhyne said one of the three occupants was trapped inside the truck and died at the scene. The coroner said that man was the driver. Rhyne said the two other victims, ages 18 and 19, were injured and taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital by paramedics.

The coroner's office identified the driver as Ethan Hawkins, 18, of Greer.

The Highway Patrol and coroner's office are investigating the accident.
