LANDRUM, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A portion of I-26 near the North Carolina state line in Spartanburg County is back open after a crash that had lanes blocked Friday evening.

According to the SC Highway Patrol Realtime Traffic Information board, the crash happened in the westbound lane near the one mile marker just before 5 p.m.

Traffic was backed up for nearly an hour.

The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and have not yet released any details about the accident.
