The first Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers restaurant to open in South Carolina will do so in Easley on Sunday.
The fast-casual restaurant is setting up shop on Highway 123 near the Forest Acres Shopping Center.
According to a news release, Freddy's offers a variety of menu items including lean-beef steakburgers, Vienna beef hot dogs, and a large assortment of dessert treats made using Freddy's signature frozen custard flavors.
"We're thrilled to debut in South Carolina," COO Scott Redler said. "Freddy's strives to provide a relaxed, yet fun, dining experience and our entrée and dessert items make for a satisfying meal. We also emphasize our community outreach programs; a new Freddy's location means many new opportunities to form lasting partnerships with local schools, area nonprofits, and other organizations. We're thankful for the warm welcome we have received, and we hope our guests will enjoy the Freddy's concept."
Redler said there are plans to grow the Freddy's franchise in the Upstate.
A Freddy's location near Woodruff Road in Greenville is expected to open in November.
