GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies said a man intentionally crashed his truck into Classic's Deli on Grove Road while attempting to run his girlfriend over on Wednesday evening.

They said the driver was in custody. Master Deputy Jonathan Smith said the suspect was Robert McCall, 42.

Deputies said McCall was charged with attempted murder and malicious injury to property between $2,000 and $10,000 in damage.

He is being held in the Greenville County Detention Center.
