PIEDMONT, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Someone in the Upstate is holding a lottery ticket that will make them $300,000 richer.

The South Carolina Education Lottery said the winning ticket was sold at the Stop-A-Minit on South Piedmont Highway for Sunday's Palmetto Cash 5 game.

The ticket matched all five numbers and the holder powered-up for $1, tripling the prize from $100,000 to $300,000.

The winning numbers were 7, 8, 18, 20, 27 and Power-Up 3.

The winner has 180 days from July 6 to claim their prize at the Columbia lottery office or it will go back into the education fund.
